1st Weekend Workshop Retreat

September 14th, 15th and 16th, 2007
Friday 4pm – Sunday 2pm
Price is $185 which includes –
- All meals starting with a 2 course dinner Friday night right through
until Sunday Lunch.
- Bunk style accommodation with ensuite, BYO linen & towels. (Disabled
room available)
- A “Max” goodie bag and a product challenge pack on arrival.
- Four workshops with Amber and Nicole on the Saturday, including layouts
and an off-the-page project.
- Games, challenges, prizes and giveaways throughout the weekend.
- A neck and shoulders massage is available for only $5 from Shiatsu
therapist Lyn McAlpine.
- And heaps and heaps of fun and laughs.

and return to Scrap to the Max to secure your spot at the retreat. Please

Accomodation.
We will be staying in Ensuite bunk rooms right beside our workshop room.
Each room has 3 bunks with an ensuite. Each room can sleep up to 6 people,
but we are able to have 3 per room if you wanted to spread out. Each room
has under floor heating and there is also a room available which is suitable
for those with limited mobility.
You need to BYO linen and towels, but there are extra blankets available.
Food.
All meals as well as morning and afternoon tea are provided by Rawson
Village. Dietary needs can be catered for, please indicate these on your
booking form if applicable.
Breakfast is served from 8am in the bistro and comprises of cereals,
toast, compotes followed by a hot selection all with juice, tea and coffee.
Lunch and evening meals are also served in the fully licensed bistro.
(there is no BYO in the bistro, however, BYO alcohol is permitted in rooms
and the workshop area).
Morning and afternoon tea are served in our workshop room. The only dishes
we need to do all weekend are what we use for morning and afternoon tea.
Scrap Shopping.
We will be taking as much of the stock from the shop as we can transport.
You will be able to purchase any of our stock over the weekend. If there
is something specific you would like, please let us know so we can pack
it for you.
Workshops.
Our workshop classes with Amber and Nicole are included in your weekend
but are certainly not compulsory for you to join in if you’re happy
scrapping on your own. For your convenience, we will have kits available
for all our classes, kits are also not compulsory. Kit prices will vary
depending on the class. Class samples will be available for you to view
and kits can be purchased prior to the weekend. We will also have many
of our workshop tools available for you to use at the retreat.
The workshop room is very spacious with adequate lighting and each participant
will have a WHOLE table to themselves. Adjoining the workshop room are
toilets and kitchen and the entire area is well heated and comfortable.
As well as the classes, we will be setting aside some time as a question
and answer time for you to ask Amber or Nicole anything scrapbook related.
You can ask anything from what our favourite scrap tool is, to bringing
us an unfinished layout that you’re having trouble with for some
help and advice. This will be held on Saturday afternoon.
Friday night, and Sunday Morning are free scrap sessions for you to use
as you choose. We will be hosting some games and challenges at these times
if you wish to join in.
Neck and Shoulder Massage.
We will be having Shiatsu Therapist, Lyn McAlpine, visiting us over the
weekend to offer neck and shoulder massages to those wanting it for only
$5.00. Lyn visiting us will depend on the number of bookings we get for
her, so please indicate on your booking form if you are interested in
taking advantage of this service.
BOOKINGS
To book your place at the retreat, all you have to do is fill out the
registration form. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required by Tuesday
July 31st, 2007. The balance of the payment is required by Friday 31st
of August. If you would like pay your fee by instalments, please see Amber
to work out a payment option.
Cancellations –Refunds will only be given on cancellations made
14 days prior to the event. You will be refunded the cost of the retreat
excluding the deposit.
When filling out your registration form, make sure you indicate who you
would like to share a room with and sit near over the weekend if you are
coming with friends and we will do our best to cater. If you are coming
alone, you will have a ball and make some new friends J
All information provided to us will be used for the purpose of the retreat
only and will be kept confidential. It will not be passed on to any unrelated
third parties.

I have read and understand that a $50 non refundable deposit is due by
31st of July, 2007 with the final balance due by the 31st of August, 2007.
A full refund excluding the deposit will only be refunded on cancellations
made with a minimum of 14 days notice prior to the retreat date.
